On June 8, the Global Clean-up Day took place – a day when people from different corners of the planet went out on the streets to clean up their cities.
The “Ecopulse” team and all those who supported us organized clean-ups in more than 30 cities. We collected almost 300 bags of trash, cleaned streets, parks, and embankments, and gave these places a second breath 🌱
This campaign, organized by the international community “Ecopulse”, was timed to coincide with the World Environment Day. We wanted to remind everyone that caring for nature can start with a simple action – stepping out and making the area around you a little cleaner.
And people truly responded:
– some cleaned the area alone;
– others came with friends or their whole family;
– and in some places, entire teams of 50 people gathered.
All of this took place simultaneously across 4 continents – from Mexico to Vietnam, in parks of Moscow and on the beaches of the Dominican Republic. People of different ages and cultures were united by one desire – to make the world around them better.
Some results:
– 19 countries
– 30+ cities
– Over 300 participants
– Almost 300 bags of trash
Thanks to everyone who joined us that day.
