International environmental action “Global Clean‑up Day 2026”
We invite you to become part of an international environmental campaign! You can make the planet cleaner – not alone, but together with hundreds of caring people around the world.
Global Cleanup Day is an annual international campaign by the environmental community EcoPulse, when volunteers in dozens of countries simultaneously clean up parks, forests, riverbanks, and seashores.
In 2025, residents of 19 countries and 30 cities will unite and clean up on one day – with the shared goal of caring for nature without unnecessary approvals and paperwork.
Every caring person on the planet can take part in the event:

2. Choose a place that needs cleaning – a park near your home, a riverbank, a forest.
3. Saturday, June 6 – go out to clean up with friends, family, or neighbors.
We’ll help:
– Send an organizer’s checklist, post templates, poster layouts, and other useful materials
– Answer questions in the general chat and during a special live broadcast
– Provide advice on negotiating with local authorities, finding partners, and what to do with trash
– Create a final video featuring all participants
Participants and organizers will receive diplomas, the joy of connecting with like-minded people, and a sense of accomplishment from the cleanliness of the surroundings.

Eco‑habits Marathon
The New Year is the perfect time for a fresh start. So we ran a marathon that helped people gently and without pressure try 9 simple eco‑habits that truly improve life – both ours and our planet’s.
In three weeks, the marathon participants:
💧 saved 11,100 litres of water
⚡️ reduced energy consumption by 3,384 kWh
♻️ sent 26 kg of waste for recycling
👕 gave 151 items a second life
📌 completed 587 tasks
🎥 held 2 useful live streams
Global Clean‑up Challenge – completed! ✨
#GlobalCleanUpChallenge brought together 231 participants from 16 countries and 77 cities and villages – from Russia to the Bahamas, from Kyrgyzstan to Venezuela – united for one goal: to make the world cleaner and kinder.
During the Challenge, 340 events took place:
— 🌱 314 clean‑ups – 1,523 bags of waste collected and disposed of (some places sent whole trucks!)
— 🎓 eco‑lessons and lectures in schools and universities
— 🎲 educational games for children and adults
— 🎬 film screenings and cultural events
Geography highlights:
— Kyrgyzstan: dozens of clean‑ups combined with sports training.
— Vietnam: activists became the centre of attention and even appeared on local television.
— Venezuela: theatrical performances where a girl became a “living symbol” of the planet – blooming and destroyed.
— Russia: entered the top‑3 by number of participants; in Moscow they held a “fun cleanup” where ecology turned into a celebration.
— Georgia: clean‑ups on the Black Sea coast that brought together locals and tourists.
— Nigeria: activists organised numerous clean‑ups, setting a bright example for the region.
— In many countries, clean‑ups turned into warm gatherings with children and even pets, followed by shared meals or cinema trips.
✨ Participants’ creativity: hero costumes, eco‑videos, art projects.
✨ New practices: birdwatching inspired many to feel nature in a new way.
The Challenge showed: ecology is not only about waste sorting. It’s about people, stories, and small steps that together create a big movement toward a clean future.
