The international non-profit organization “Ecopulse” brings together activists from different countries

On June 30th, a team of volunteers from different countries cleaned the sacred mountain Sulayman-Too from vandalistic inscriptions in Kyrgyzstan.

The international non-profit organization “Ecopulse” was created to unite environmental activists, help them implement projects together, find like-minded people, and resources.

Thanks to the “Ecopulse” platform, people from different countries and cities gathered at the UNESCO World Heritage monument – the Sulayman-Too mountain – to participate in a cleaning campaign to remove inscriptions from the rock.

Activists from the “Clean Altai” project suggested a cleaning technology and conducted technical training for the participants.

– The “Clean Altai” project has been working for 5 years to clean up the traces of vandalism in tourist sites of the Altai Republic, – said the project leader, Inna Muklaeva. – We collect trash, clean rocks from inscriptions, install information signs, and conduct educational activities for children and youth. Over 4000 square meters have been cleaned, along with more than ten significant places in our region. The project is often of interest to other countries and regions in our country. The problem is widespread.

– It was very important for us to participate in the cleaning of Sulayman-Too, – she emphasized. – It is one of the iconic places for all the people of Asia. We would like to continue our partnership with “Ecopulse”; for us, it is important for more people to learn that nature can be preserved.

Local volunteers from the city of Osh and surrounding towns, activists from Altai and other parts of Russia, and concerned guests from Kazakhstan – all together cleaned several areas of the mountain.
